Docwerk, a video production company with roots in filming extreme water sports. Nowadays Docwerk does all kind of film projects. They set themselfs apart by being a two men team, but taking on huge projects. That asks for a supporting and solid branding.

With not that many restrains, creating the Docwerk brand required lots of concepting. While sketching the first drafts the heritage of watersports was taking in account along with the basics of filming.
For the creation of the logo, two important film elements were combined: light and screen aspect ratio. The screen aspect ratio serves to give the logo multiple sizes for optimal use, as seen down below.
When the logo was finished and the branding was completed the styleguide followed. Where many styleguides are online nowadays, Docwerk wanted an offline collection of their brand.
